Welcome to Business North Carolina's weekly podcast, serving up interviews with some of the Tar Heel State's most interesting people. On today's podcast, David Mildenberg talks with Ben Coulter, chancellor of Western Governors University, a nonprofit that enrolls more than 4,000 students in North Carolina who have an average age of 37. Before joining WGU in May, Coulter had a long career in military intelligence and as a veteran professor and administrator at Western Carolina University. He discusses growing demand for online education geared to working adults and the need for more people to earn degrees and certificates to meet employers' needs.
